B\u00fclent Baykal, California \u00dcniversitesi\u2019ndeki ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n yapt\u0131klar\u0131 deneyde ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lan sonuca g\u00f6re; yak\u0131n \u00e7evremizde bulunan endi\u015feli ve a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 tepki g\u00f6steren insanlar\u0131n duygular\u0131n\u0131 hissettirdikleri ve zihinsel aktivite performanslar\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc kaydetti.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDUYGUSAL \u0130L\u0130\u015eK\u0130DE OLDU\u011eUMUZ B\u0130R\u0130S\u0130NDE YA\u015eADI\u011eIMIZ ZAMAN \u0130NSANLARIN Y\u00dcZDE 40\u2019ININ STRES SEV\u0130YES\u0130 A\u015eIRI DERECEDE Y\u00dcKSELMEKTED\u0130R\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yak\u0131n\u0131m\u0131zda olan, beraber \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z veya ev ortam\u0131nda stresli birini g\u00f6zlemledi\u011fimiz zaman, bu durumun  sinir sistemimizde negatif bir uyarana yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 vurgulayan Baykal, &#8221; Di\u011fer bir  ara\u015ft\u0131rmada bu t\u00fcr bir ya\u015fant\u0131ya maruz kal\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman stres hormonu olan kortizol\u2019un her y\u00fcz ki\u015fiden 26\u2019s\u0131nda ki\u015fide a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 y\u00fckseldi\u011fini g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. Duygusal ili\u015fkide oldu\u011fumuz birisinde ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z zaman ise  insanlar\u0131n y\u00fczde 40\u2019\u0131n\u0131n stres seviyeleri a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 y\u00fckselmektedir. Dahas\u0131 bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmada, bir grup birbirine yabanc\u0131 ki\u015fi beraberce televizyonda stres yaratan bir olay izlediklerinde bile y\u00fczde 24\u2019\u00fc a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 stres davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131 g\u00f6stermi\u015flerdir. Taksi \u015f\u00f6f\u00f6r\u00fc gergin ve k\u00fcfrederek kornaya bast\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman, sizin anksiyeteniz y\u00fckselecek ve i\u015finize o gerginli\u011finizi ta\u015f\u0131yacaks\u0131n\u0131z. Globalle\u015fen d\u00fcnyam\u0131zda ikinci el strese \u00e7ok a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 maruz kal\u0131yoruz. Gazetelerde, televizyonda di\u011fer medyada s\u00fcrekli olumsuz d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceler ve yorumlar okuyoruz. Stresli insanlar\u0131n olumsuz v\u00fccut dillerinde, televizyondaki a\u00e7\u0131k oturumlarda hem s\u00f6zel hem  de s\u00f6zel olmayan stresli olumsuz davran\u0131\u015flarla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131yoruz. Bu tip olumsuz duygular ve stres, bir bula\u015f\u0131c\u0131 hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n yay\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi h\u0131zla yay\u0131l\u0131yor, s\u00fcrekli kayg\u0131 sat\u0131n almak bizi de s\u00fcrekli kayg\u0131l\u0131, mutsuz, hayattan zevk almayan, insan ili\u015fkileri bozuk bir ki\u015fiye d\u00f6n\u00fcst\u00fcr\u00fcyor. Dahas\u0131, biz de etraf\u0131m\u0131za bu olumsuz ruh durumunu yans\u0131tarak bir \u015fekilde olumsuz duruma katk\u0131da bulunmu\u015f oluyoruz.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u0130K\u0130NC\u0130 EL STRESDEN AZ ETK\u0130LENMEN\u0130N YOLLARI NELERD\u0130R?<\/p>\n<p>Yale ve Stanford \u00dcniversitelerinin ortak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131nda, e\u011fer stres ile ilgili pozitif bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce seti olu\u015fturulabilinirse ve stres ile kavga etmekten vazge\u00e7ilirse, ikinci el stresin olumsuz etkisinin y\u00fczde 23 d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn bulundu\u011funa dikkat \u00e7eken Baykal, \u015f\u00f6yle devam etti:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Stresi bir \u201ctehdit\u201d olarak alg\u0131lad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z zaman v\u00fccudumuz ve beynimiz stresin olumlu olabilecek etkilerini \u0131skal\u0131yor. Hep stresin olumsuz ve y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131 etkilerinden s\u00f6z ediliyor fakat stresimizi kontrol alt\u0131na ald\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda zihinsel sa\u011flaml\u0131k,yeni perspektifleri g\u00f6rebilme, fark\u0131ndal\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n artmas\u0131, hayat\u0131n de\u011ferini daha fazla farketme, gibi olumlu sonu\u00e7lara da yol a\u00e7maktad\u0131r. Etraf\u0131m\u0131zda stres aktaran insanlar hep var olacak, bunlarla kavga ederek hayal k\u0131r\u0131kl\u0131klar\u0131 ya\u015fayarak moralimizi bozmak yerine, sevecenli\u011fimizi ve \u015fevkatimizi hissedecek bir f\u0131rsat olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcp kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131zdaki insan\u0131n daha pozitif olmalar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fabiliriz.<\/p>\n<p>Etraf\u0131m\u0131zdaki stresli insanlar\u0131n olumsuzluklar\u0131n\u0131 n\u00f6tralize etmek i\u00e7in bir \u201cdavran\u0131\u015f setine\u201d ihtiyac\u0131m\u0131z var. Beraber \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z arkada\u015flar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n stresli ve kayg\u0131l\u0131 ifadeli tav\u0131rlar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 ayn\u0131 \u015fekilde bir tepki vermek yerine, g\u00fcl\u00fcmseyerek, veya kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131zdakini anlad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 ve destekledi\u011fimizi ifade eden bir yakla\u015f\u0131mlarla ortamdaki stres reaksiyonlar\u0131n\u0131 azaltm\u0131\u015f oluruz. Bu tarz davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131 ne kadar \u00e7ok uygulamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rsak, ortam o kadar yumu\u015far ve anksiyete azal\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Bazen de stres ya\u015fayaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz bir ortama girmeden \u00f6nce veya g\u00fcne ba\u015flamadan \u00f6nce  bu konudaki  ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131k sistemimizi g\u00fc\u00e7lendirecek birtak\u0131m davran\u0131\u015f ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelere y\u00f6nelmeliyiz. Bu da hayata daha olumlu olarak bakmam\u0131za neden olur. \u00d6rnek verecek olursak sabah kalkt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda veya i\u015f ortam\u0131nda bunalmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 hissedersek minnettar veya m\u00fcte\u015fekkir oldu\u011fumuz o an akl\u0131m\u0131za gelen 3 \u015feyi bir ka\u011f\u0131da yazmak ve bunlar\u0131 birka\u00e7 dakika g\u00f6zden ge\u00e7irmek; daha evvel deneyimledi\u011fimiz pozitif bir olay\u0131 2 dakika i\u00e7in sadece onu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnerek g\u00f6zden ge\u00e7irmek; 2 dakika s\u00fcreyle beynimizi sadece tek bir objeye odaklayarak olumlu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerle meditasyon yapmak; f\u0131rsat olursa \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p bir y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015f yapmak gibi \u201cduygusal ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131k sistemimizi\u201d g\u00fc\u00e7lendirecek faaliyetlere y\u00f6nelmek bize iyi gelecektir.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00e7mi\u015f y\u0131llarda beyinlerimizin duygusal bulu\u015fmaya kar\u015f\u0131 ne kadar e\u011filimli olduklar\u0131n\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n ortaya koydu\u011funu belirten Baykal, \u201cBeyinlerimizde bulunan ayna n\u00f6ronlar (beynimizdeki h\u00fccreler) vas\u0131tas\u0131yla kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131zdaki ki\u015filere empati g\u00f6sterebiliyoruz.
