Restorasyan ve kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 tefti\u015f edip arkeologlardan bilgi alan Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Osman Sarg\u0131n, \u201cTarih\u00ee ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel miras\u0131m\u0131z olan \u0130znik surlar\u0131n\u0131n onar\u0131m\u0131 ile ilgili ilk harc\u0131 ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz aylarda atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131k. \u0130znik, 4970 uzunlu\u011funda surlar\u0131 ile T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin 2. b\u00fcy\u00fck surlar\u0131na sahip. Surlar\u0131n onar\u0131lmas\u0131 il\u00e7emiz a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemliydi. Bu konuda gayretini esirgemeyen B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131m\u0131za \u0130znikliler ad\u0131na te\u015fekk\u00fcr ediyorum. Bizler ne kadar sahip \u00e7\u0131karsak il\u00e7emiz o kadar geli\u015fir.
